  • Tim Beeston

    Founder, Editor

    After graduating from Ravensbourne, Tim began working at The Farm Group - now called Picture Shop - on shows including ‘The Grand Tour’ and ‘24 Hours In A&E’, before moving to freelance and delving into the world of feature documentaries.

    He edited his first feature length ‘The Silicon Valley Of Hardware’, which opened the door to multiple high impact films, including BAFTA-nominated ‘Keyboard Fantasies’ and multi-award winning ‘Medicine Man’.

    In 2022, fuelled by an ambition to create a dedicated space for post-production excellence, Tim started Untangled.

  • Tom O'Neill

    Editor

    Tom's remarkable capacity to maintain objectivity, even in the face of the most delicate subjects has paved the way for the creation of films tackling topics including mental illness, parenthood and the anti-vax movement.

    As our very first employee, Tom takes on a pivotal role at Untangled working from both Bristol and our London studio. His editing and story telling skills have culminated in a diverse array of projects, from social campaigns for Black Eats LND, to brand-led campaigns for Johnnie Walker, and thought-provoking documentary series, ‘Mind Walk’.

  • Justin Stokes

    Editor

    Justin cut his teeth in the industry working as an editor and camera operator on high-profile projects for Arctic Monkeys, Sony and Canon, before moving into directing with his short film ‘Method Actor’, which screened at Cannes. He went on to create his first feature ‘Missile From the East’ which premiered on Sky Documentaries and Apple TV+.

    Armed with this incredible story telling experience, Justin turned back to editing. In 2022 he joined forces with Untangled and recently cut projects including National Geographic’s ‘Best Of The World’, and ‘Turn The Dial’ for Bose.

  • Daniela Schramm Moura

    Editor

    Whilst studying editing at the renowned Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in Germany, Daniela worked as an assistant editor on productions including ‘You Are Wanted - Season 2’ and the Netflix series ‘Unorthodox’. Along with the team of the animated short ‘The Beauty’, Daniela won a Student Academy Award in 2020.

    She soon began editing feature documentaries including multi-award winning ’Dear Future Children’, which received a cinema release in six countries and qualified the team for the Academy Awards 2022.

    Upon moving to London in 2024 she joined the team at Untangled and recently turned her highly creative style to edit ‘Le Manoir Aux Quat’Saisons’ featuring Chef Raymond Blanc at Belmond Hotels, and ‘Victoria Beckham X MANGO’, featuring Alexa Chung.

  • James Cook

    Editor

    After graduating from Ravensbourne in 2016, James embarked on his journey within the realm of visual storytelling joining the creative powerhouse of luxury fashion, MR PORTER. There, he honed his craft by contributing to an eclectic mix of short documentaries and commercial videos.

    Transitioning into the realm of freelance work, James remained entrenched in the worlds of fashion and commercial endeavours, weaving his distinct visual identity through his projects.

    In 2022 James and Untangled Co-Founder Tim, brought together by their shared connections at Ravensbourne, first met. James has since spearheaded numerous prestigious projects at Untangled, including multiple campaigns for industry giants like Audible, Bose and JCPenney.

  • Natalia Jaeger

    Colour Grader

    Natalia is a Venezuelan photographer and film colourist who began her career after attaining her master's in fine art from Arizona State University. Her relocation to the UK ignited a passion for capturing the fleeting and subtle nuances of daily existence.

    Specialising in documentary and street photography, Natalia's keen eye has become her hallmark, transcending conventional boundaries of photography and elevating unmatched experience in her understand of colour.

    In 2023 she began working with Untangled where she’s embraced a breadth of visual styles, from behind the scenes documentaries for Audible’s ‘Breakthrough’ series, to live music recording sessions with Glenn Copeland, to reality TV shows for OFTV.

  • Richard Jephcote

    Colour Grader

    Born and raised in the North, then matured in London - for eight and a half years Richard worked at Academy Award-winning Grain Media, becoming their in-house cinematographer.

    Having learned filmmaking from nearly every angle through working on acclaimed documentaries, Richard took his wealth of knowledge and deep understanding of cinematography and turned his hand to colour grading.

    In 2023 Richard collaborated on his first Untangled project, ‘Love Booth’ - a series of campaign videos for Audible in London, New York and Toronto. His most recent work, grading ‘Turn The Dial’ for Bose is rapidly gaining attention online.

  • John Cohen

    Sound Designer

    John specialises in film sound design, with extensive experience as a sound supervisor, sound designer, dialogue editor and re-recording mixer. Working in both fiction and documentary, his credits include over 30 features, four TV series and 35 shorts, as well as commercial projects with brands including Pepsi, Adidas and Land Rover. His sound design and music team were awarded the Kinsale Sharks Award for Jaguar's 'Alive' commercial.

    Whilst working on BAFTA nominated ‘Keyboard Fantasies’, John met Untangled Co-Founder, Tim. They began making films together including multi-award winnng ‘Medicine Man’. Today John brings his unique skills to our proudest work, including the musical masterpiece, ‘Ingredients for Disaster’ and base jumping series ‘The Lost Exit’.

  • Tom Joyce

    Sound Designer

    Tom is a multi-award winning sound designer who specialises in cinematic, organic, story-focused sound for all forms of visual media.

    With 20 years of experience in post production, Tom prides himself on his distinct ability to come up with truly original soundscapes, drawing you into a story that takes you on an adventure to new sonic worlds.

    Tom’s work with Untangled brings remarkable depth to feature length documentaries including ‘Live To Win’, and short form campaigns like ‘Turn The Dial’.

    Tom is the founder of Sound Canvas, a forward thinking sound design studio.
